Kang-Guru Himal Expedition

Kang Guru Expedition with AMIS HIMALAYA ADVENTURE begins at Kathmandu. After spending a full day sightseeing and making preparations for the expedition
Kang-Guru peak is located in Peri Himal between Annapurna ranges and Manaslu of Nar-Phu valley, above the tree line on the upper limit of cultivation in the north of Manang. Apart from the odd researcher and climbing expeditions permitted to climb Mt. Kang Guru, Mt. Himlung, Mt. Ratna Chuli and Mt. Gyajing Kang, few foreigners have visited the area and tourism infrastructure is almost non-existent. The climbing routes follow the Annpurna ciruit route up to Koto and proceed to Kang Guru base camp passing through traditional villages of Tibetan setting Meta. Base camp will be pitched at 4250m, camp I at 5300m, Camp II at 6100m and then long climbing on to the summit. The route presents some small technical difficulties and care should be taken for possible avalanches. From here a long and steep trail winds up to Nar and Phu whose villagers, laden with goods purchased in Chame and even lower down in Besishahar, the end of the road head leading to Manang, often camp at Dharmashala, a rudimentary wooden hut built by the people from the two villages. Mt. Kang Guru becomes a most popular and mountain for the climbers since 2005

Successful Climbing of Mt. Kang Guru with Sherpa Guides
From this point, the trail becomes steeper. And we can hear the loud roars of rivers as the rapids crash with huge stones and deposits of the landslides. We will continue on an easy trek along the forest section before climbing to the stone huts of Singenge. From there, our trail heads towards Mount Kang Guru Himal Base Camp. After arriving at the base camp, our Sherpa crew will quickly set up the camp. And make necessary checks on climbing gears and our health conditions.

With the guidance and instructions of our experienced climbing expert. We head towards the summit of Mt. Kang Guru Himal . After the thrilling and challenging climb of the Kang Guru mount summit. We also retrace our steps back to Kang Guru base camp. Having achieved our target summit, we follow the trail that passes through Koto and back to Syange. Our memorable and adventurous Kang Guru Expedition with Nepal Guide Treks ends with a drive from Syange back to Kathmandu.
