Manaslu Circuit Trek

Manaslu Circuit Trek is well-camping / Lodge route start from Gorkha district to follows an ancient salt-trading route along Budi Gandaki River bank and trek continue to different villages crosses the adventure Larkye-la pass to go around the Manaslu massif over the pass down to Annapurna conservation area. We pass through several remote villages in our trek route which are mainly inhabited by Gurungs. The people around these villages have joined the British and an Indian army and generally known as Gurkha army. We also pass through several forests which contains wide varieties of vegetation, most of the forest during the lower part of the Trekking. Rhododendron and oak while the higher altitude consists of Himalayan blue pine, diverse variety of medicinal herbs and aromatic plants are also found in these forests.

The Manaslu Conversation area is a sanctuary for large variety of birds and animals. Various species of wildlife like grey musk deer, blue sheep, Himalayan Thar along with endangered animals like snow leopards and red pandas are conserve in the conversation area. We get incredible above eight Thousands meter landmarks, deep gorges of Budi GandakiKhola (River) and several mountains range like Manaslu, Himchuli, Ganesh Himal.

Manaslu Circuit Trekking start from Gorkha passing through a series of green foothills along the side of gorges of Budi Gandaki we steadily make our way to Arughat. Heading north from Aurghat our journey heads towards Dyang, following our path from Dyang to Lhogaon, the impressive view of Manaslu start to appear vivid and clearer. The route heading towards Syala village through the thick pine Forest we get view of many snow-capped peaks in Manaslu. Moving a little ahead we get to Samagaon situated at the foot of Manaslu. The village of Samagaon possesses many Buddhist shrines where many nuns and monks reside. Samdo is Wonderful village which is inhabited mainly by Tibetan Nepali. A commanding view of the whole Budi Gandaki valley and village Pang Phuchi with a backdrop of the border of Nepal- Tibet can be seen from the Samdo village. The route ahead takes us to a major valley of Lakya-la from where HimlungHimal, CheoHimal and Kang guru is visible, we then head toward the meadowland of Bhumthang, from where the peak Manaslu is clearly visible. The Manaslu Circuit trek makes a route of Manaslu from where the trail heads to DudhKhola (River) which later meets with Marsyangdi River making our way to Bulbule and drive back to Kathmandu.

Day 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu airport Welcome by Amis Himalaya Adventure Trekking Member and transfer to hotel/ after refreshing complete the official formalities/ briefing about the preparation and rest of the day free for your own leisure/overnight at hotel in

Day 02 : Full day sightseeing around Kathmandu city - Historical Durbar Square area, Pasupatinath Temple, BoudhanathStupa&SwyambhunathStupa; which will take you to visit Nepal’s most popular attractions and lunch break will be during the tour at best restaurants

Day 03 : Drive to Arughat525m 7/8 hrs overnight at Tent.

Day 04 : Trek to SotiKhola 620m 5/6 hours overnight at Tent.

Day 05 : Trek to MacchaKhola 900m 5/6 hours overnight at Tent.

Day 06 : Trek to Jagat 1,410m 6/7 hours overnight at Tent.

Day 07 : Trek Jagat to Philim 1,590m 6/7 hours overnight at Tent.

Day 08 : Trek to Deng 1,920m 6 ½ hours overnight at Tent.

Day 09 : Trek to Namrung 2,700m 6/7 hours overnight at Tent.

Day 12 : Acclimatization day at SamaGaun hike to Manasulu Base Camp back to SamaGaun overnight at Tent.

Day 13 : Trek to Samdo 3,780m 5 ½ hours overnight at Tent.

Day 14 : Trek to Dharamsala 4,480m 4 hours overnight at Tent.

Day 15 : Trek to cross Larkya - La Pass 5,100m then down to Bhimthang 3,700m 7/8 hours overnight at Tent.

Day 16 : Trek to Tilje 2,300m 5/6 hours overnight at Tent.

Day 17 : Trek to Jagat or Syange 1,100m 6/7 hours overnight at Tent.

Day 18 : Drive Back to Kathmandu 7/8 hour overnight at Hotel with Bed & Breakfast plan.

Day 19 : Free at Kathmandu shopping

Day 20 : Departure from Kathmandu to your onward destination.
